Our visual metaphor for the week is that we're standing in front of a hurdle, desperately wishing we had more momentum to jump over it.
This week we're going to be pushing through some of the sticky and stagnant energy that's making us question whether we've chosen the right path.
The analogy here is that we've taken off sprinting, full of hope and adrenaline, only to be confronted by the fact that this race isn't a straightforward sprint, but rather the hundred meter hurdles and finding ourselves stopped short.
This week may bring some confusion or even obstinance as we confront unexpected obstacles, potentially alongside some regret at our lack of foresight.
The metaphorical guidance here is that there's no avoiding these hurdles. We simply need to back up, gather some momentum, and push through, even if it feels like we're temporarily moving backwards.
Underneath the inconvenience, there's also a strong undercurrent that these trials are making us stronger, and when we're further down the track we'll be grateful that we didn't sidestep the growth opportunity.
